Our hospital provides a full range of veterinary services for your family pet.
We treat small animals, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, and pocket pets.
Some of the services we offer include:
Appointments are available mornings, afternoons, and evenings Monday through Friday. On Saturday, appointments are available in the mornings.
We provide your pet with a comprehensive physical examination at each visit. Pets age much faster than people, so early detection of problems is vital to maintaining their health. We recommend your pet have a complete physical examination at least once a year.
We recommend vaccinations to prevent contagious diseases dependent on your pets' exposure levels or environment. Our distemper combinations and rabies vaccines are given every three years to adult pets. Additionally, we offer optional vaccines dependent on your pets' exposure levels. Optional vaccines include Feline Leukemia, Lyme Disease, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough.
Our in-house laboratory offers rapid problem assessment, including blood chemistry profiles to monitor internal organ functions, complete blood cell counts, and blood tests for canine heartworm disease, lyme disease, anaplasmosis, ehrliciosis, and feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus. Blood samples are obtained using the absolute minimal restraint required to avoid unnecessary stress for you and your pet.
Microscopic exams are offered within our facility to test for intestinal parasites, external parasites, urinalysis and diagnosing types of skin and ear infections.
For histopathology, cultures, stone analysis, and further blood tests, we utilize external veterinary laboratories.
Our surgical procedures utilize the lowest risk anesthetics along with close monitoring of your pet using specialized equipment. Following surgery, each pet is monitored to assure its safety, warmth, comfort level, and pain management.
Routine surgeries performed include spay and neuter procedures, tumor removals, dental cleaning and extractions, declawing, bladder and urinary stone removal, and additional soft tissue surgeries. Some orthopedic and more complex soft tissue surgeries are performed along with emergency procedures.
We use radiography (x-rays), ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring, and a special cardiology consult service as diagnostics to complement the physical examination and laboratory testing to diagnose your pet's condition.
Additionally, we utilize local specialists and referral services when your pet's condition requires. We want your pet's conditions to be diagnosed as quickly and accurately as possible and are willing to address whatever needs you may have.
Boarding is available for cats in a secluded facility to ensure their comfort.
We offer boarding for our client's dogs with special needs.
We offer full grooming services three days a week by appointment only.
